James was raised in the San Francisco Bay and as part of a law enforcement family. He started his career in law enforcement in 1996 as an explorer. Once out of high school, he attended Diablo Valley College and became a police reserve officer before attending the Santa Rosa Police Academy. As an officer, James has had many special assignments including K9 handler “Castor”, field training officer (FTO), patrol supervisor, crisis negotiation team (CNT), and rounded out the career as a detective investigating person crimes. James decided to relocate the family for a new opportunity and enjoy the outdoor activities that the PNW has to offer. James enjoys community engagement and making our communities a safer, happier place. He has dedicated over 2650 hours of specialized training as well as the numerous years of investigations to give him the necessary foundation to leading Atlas Pacific Security’s operations.
